EIE’s funding is structured as a loan and covers both debt and equity.
EIE’s loans are structured with a high degree of flexibility to match a client and project’s needs. The rate paid is determined through a competitive auction process where institutional investors bid to invest in the project. This is informed by the project prospectus and risk profile of the project.
The basis for a loan is the expected cash flow of the project and the ability of the Project Sponsor to repay the loan over the agreed period. Full details are negotiated with each client on a project basis.
